Weekend Drive to Queenstown

The journey to Queenstown is amazing. We’ve been here in NZ for over a decade but it never ceases to amaze us.

These are some of the photos

Lake Tekapo, Ohau Canal, Cromwell and Queenstown

West Coast Road Trip

We’ve spent two days on this trip. We were initially hesitant to go since it was meant to rain. We went ahead and it was worth it!

Our highlights on this trip!

  • “Harry” the donkey
  • Sleeping at the cozy caravan
  • Walks
  • Chasing the waterfalls
  • Determination of my four year old to walk all the way to the waterfalls and back after the previous 2hours walk from Castle Hill

These are some of the places and photos

Day 1:

Castle Hill -roughly 90mins drive our home

Arthur’s Pass- Bridal Waterfalls (roughly 30mins from Castle Hill)

This place is amazing, the water is so clear and the walk all the way to the top is kid’s friendly.

Blowholes Pancake Rocks

Farm Accommodation – we tried a new accommodation this time and we love it

Day 2:

Pororari River Track

Short walks compilation, Christchurch New Zealand

We are lucky to be surrounded by lots of reserves, parks and beaches in our city. These are few of our favourite places for a short walk. It gets dark around 10pm during summer so after work, we usually go for a walk on one of these places.

Taylor’s Mistake New Brighton Beach

Spencer Beach

Styx mill reserve

Hagley Park

Preston’s Park Subdivision

Sign of the kiwi

Mona Vale (20mins from home)

Victoria Park

Rapaki Bay

Bottle Lake Forest

Riccarton Bush

Bush inside the city, it’s probably 3mins walk to the mall. I used to walk here every lunch when my office was beside the mall. It’s impressive on how they preserve this place

Sumner beach

Bishopdale Park

We usually call this place as elephant park because of the elephant slides

Mahy Park
